Siewmei and i were having some disputes with our colleagues. The feeling was just damn fucking sucks! Shall mention it again. This week gonna work less cause of 南天宫大日子. Either a morning or a half morning shift is enough for me, as i got to rush down to 南天宫 where the ceremonies started in the late evening.

Skipped Day 1 cause i did not take any pictures. :D Actually i wanted to snap some pictures of them playing with the barangs but i got no hands to hold my camera. There was insufficient manpowers on that day. Supposingly there were 2 people taking care of 1 god, end up i solo.
-.-' Luckily i could stil manage to cope. Guess i've level up already. HAHAS! :P

大日子 Day 2
Opening of Oil Wok Ceremony.

First time in my life to have the chance to see gods playing with oil wok. Shall elaborate more with those pictures.

Photobucket

Experts in handling the boiling oil wok. Adding the charcoals to increase the fire before putting the wok on top.

Photobucket

A super duper big wok. A 符 in the middle of the oil, & the experts were adding oils and some kind of wines i guess, into the wok.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Omg! Really filled with oils & it's super oily!

Photobucket

This should be called 'cao kun' , i think. I want to learn the song for 'cao kun'. :D The meaning of 'cao kun' is to invite the god or announce the start of the ceremony, not so sure also. HAHAS. :D

Herbs and wines to be poured into the wok.

Photobucket

Hubby, Swee Bin & Alan.

Photobucket

Slacking while waiting for the time to start the ceremony.

Photobucket

Snap it when Thomas suddenly called them. HAHAS.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Need to pray before they can invite their bosses down. :)

Photobucket

Photobucket

Now i can differentiate the hand sign of hubby's 2 bosses, 善才爷&哪咤. This is the hand sign of 善才爷. Scroll down to Day 4 to have a look at the hand sign of 哪咤.

齐天大圣.

Praying process.

Up next is the most exciting part of tonight's event. Playing with hot oil, & i mean real hot! It is stil boiling. Freak! Cant you imagine putting both of your hands into the boiling oil. ARGHS!

I shall explain how they played with the oil. Firstly, the gods will soak a cloth into the wok, without twisting it, the gods used the cloth to hit their body. One word to say, STUN! They like got no feelings at all. I even heard 善才爷 said, 'jin ho ti tou' in hokkien, meaning very fun. HAHAS! Funny sia.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

善才爷 enjoyed himself the most. HAHAS. :D

Photobucket

Photobucket

Next was to add all the herbs into the wok. It was to be made into medical oil for treatment purpose.

After playing the oil wok, 善才爷 was told to give out lanterns to every lil children he saw. Followed along with him, & he passed me a lantern and asked me to hold for him. He wants it for himself. WAHAHAS XD! That's cute! Ah Boon even lighted the lantern for him to play. :D

Photobucket

Pardon for the blur pictures. My hands were fulled of things yet i stil wanted to take pictures. Not wanting to miss a single chance of him playing lantern. :P

Photobucket

After the ceremony, hubby went back to 南天宫 together with Swee Bin, Alan & Ah Dan to bath and clean themselves up. Held a small farewell session for Chityan as he is going to enlist for NS very soon.

Photobucket

Friends always. :)

大日子 Day 3
Kumpong Yew Keng.

Hubby did not 跳神 except for Uncle Buck. Heard that Uncle Buck's 黑脸大圣爷 very fierce! Indeed fierce. Temper extremely bad. :P

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Sunny putting make up for Uncle Buck cause of the kumpong yew keng later on.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Well, i also not very sure what was the yew keng for. But from what i see and experience is to take all the 'kim sim', statues of the god for a tour. HAHAS. :D The yew keng wasn't very far, only 1 round of block 900+. I followed them of cause, & my job was to light cigarettes for them. HAHAS! Lame right. Ah Boon asked me to do that. :P Hopefully this walk made me lessen some calories. HAHAS! :D

We were trying to smile at the camera. :P

Photobucket

Don't ask me what is that. Cause i also don't know. All i know is a long stick. WAHAHAS XD

Photobucket

Their actions were nice! Swee Bin, Ah Dan & Alan doing the same actions. This was to 开路.

Many people followed behind us, holding a lotus candle and a joss stick. I think it is for 保佑平安.

大日子 Day 4
Sending God Back Ceremony.

4 days ended just so fast. Last day of the 大日子. Thought that i could see 善才爷 once again, BUT! Hubby's 2nd boss, 哪咤 came. ARGHS! I prefer 善才爷 more! Cause the feeling is really different. :P

Photobucket

Photobucket

As i mentioned at Day 2 about the hand sign of hubby's bosses. Can you guys spot the differences too? HAHAS! This is the hand sign of 哪咤.

Photobucket

Oh ya! I found out one thing. I tend to be more quiet when taking care of 哪咤. I also don't know why. The feeling is so so different! LOLS! Perhaps 善才爷 is more friendly. :P
