Working in the afternoon shift is a benefit to me because i can sleep longer!

In the middle of my beauty sleep, my mother came into my room, telling me that the maid is not coming to our house for cleaning because she is going out soon, and no one is at home. After nodding my head, she closed the door. Minutes later she came in again, telling me she bought 'zui kuay' for me. Closed my eyes and backed to sleep, awhile later the alarm rang. Time always passed super duper fast when i was sleeping.
Got out of bed, took a bath, & ate the 'zui kuay' before putting on make up and left my house. Walked to UOB bank to bank in some money before heading to work.

After i changed into my working clothes, walked to the shop floor and saw CK and Liza standing at the ladies print tees. That area is forever going to be meant for me. Want to know why i said that? Of course i have my own reason for saying that.

CK asked, "丽玲, 你帮我站在ladies print tee那里."
I replied, "Orh."

Before i walked to the ladies print tee, Liza came to me.

Liza said, "Li ling, pretty face must stand at the ladies print tee there. Like that than can attract customers in."
I replied, "Huh? No link sia. Customers that i faced are all ladies."
Liza smiled.

By saying that, is she trying to make me feel happy because of the praising? However i'm not! Even if she really praises me, i don't feel it. What i felt was it has another meaning. That is she wants to get herself out of that area. In fact no one would like to stand at the ladies print tees area. Reason being when all the kaisu, inconsiderate, chee-na, aunties merged around the area, especially when the crowd at Tampines Mall during weekends was like extremely crowded! All the inventories would be in a mess. Not mentioning about folding all the clothes but handling all the aunties is enough for us. I didn't utter a word or complain to anyone about it. It is just a feeling that i had in my heart.

And also, i won't say all these without evidences. I had seen it! Right in front of my eyes. Sometimes Miss A came over to help out at the ladies print tees area, & not yet 5 minutes, she could walk over to the counter to do packing when the queue wasn't long at all! Next was when there's no customers at the ladies print tees area, i walked over to the men print tees area to help out, & Miss B happened to stand at the ladies print tees. When she was standing there, not less than 5 customers surrounded the area, asking her to help them find the sizes and so on, she could call my name and ask me to swap with her. And i did as she said. What i saw next was she went to fold certain clothes where there wasn't any customers.
I mean is this the right way? Can't you just simply help out. No matter what shift i worked, standing at the ladies print tees area only has my share and not others.

To be frank, i am used to it. From the first day i joined I.P Zone, that area is so called 'reserved' for me. I seriously don't mind standing there. In fact, i must thank to all the In-charge for positioning me there! I did learn lots of thing! Firstly is how to deal with several customers together at one time. Secondly is my speed of folding.
When we were doing closing, i looked at the entire shop, it was in a mess except the ladies print tees area. I'm not trying to show off or what. I just want to show that i did what i have to do. Took the initiative to help out at the other areas, & i'm the only one person standing at the shop floor clearing the mess, folding all those messy clothes, 2 persons doing settlements while the rest went out to the atrium for help. When Miss B came out from the counter, she said something which i myself feel proud of.

Miss B said, "Wah! Li ling, you really fold very fast sia."

Some people might say that i am trying to show off but i'm not. I used to be a slow poke, but i learned from my mistake. That was why i said, i must thank to all those who keep asking me to stand at the ladies print tees area. A place where i learned and trained myself.

Thank goodness hubby came to fetch me off from work, & he helped me out. Really thanks! Without you around, i do not know what time i would knock off. Although they did not even say a word, 'thank you', to you but i really appreciate for what you had done. :)

By saying all these, it doesn't mean that i don't like my colleagues. I like them. They really teach me lots of stuffs. Especially Desmond, Chit Kian and Xiao Mei. I appreciate for what you guys share with me about your knowledges. THANKS! :)

After clearing all the mess in the shop, i asked CK whether i could sign out, & he agreed. Hubby and i walked home, & at the lift, we smelled durians. Suddenly, hubby suggested to bring me to Geylang for some durians and bean curds. OMG! Those are my favourites. HAHAS. :D
While waiting for cab, hubby asked me stil got which places we could go to for supper. I suggested Bedok 85 market, Chomp chomp at Serangoon Garden. And hubby chose 85 market. He said that by the time we reached Geylang and ate the durians, we would definitely reached home late as next day i got to wake up early for school. End up no durians for me. :(
